Liquid Flow Deepening with Dariya & Daniel

A 7-day course, on the surface as well as under water.
Liquid Flow Deepening is an extension of Liquid Flow Essence with a focus on process work and refinement of flow and touch, both on the surface and under water. It also includes free movement and contact dance in water as well as acquiring tools for deeper listening and expressing yourself with the help of compassionate communication.
During previous courses, required as prerequisite to join this course, you have accumulated a wide spectrum of moves. Even though Liquid Flow Deepening offers some new material and variations of already known moves, it is basically about refining what is already there.
In addition, you’ll learn connecting deeper through working with the breath, sequencing your session, and finding your own combinations and adjustments according to your personal abilities and circumstances – away from right or wrong or perfect – to accommodate different sizes, shapes, and body types. You’ll also be encouraged to create your own sequences and moves, present them to other students, and learn from their creations.
Ample practice time will be given, allowing you to refine the flow and smoothen transitions from one move to another, while at the same time improving your quality of touch.
Also, learning to take your client under water without using a sign will allow you to establish a deeper connection.
A wide variety of practices offering possibilities for self-inquiry in groups of two or three, sharing in pairs and with the bigger circle, self-connecting meditations and movement-oriented practices alone and as a group.
Tools will be offered for deeper listening, learning from feedback, and holding your own process and that of others. All this will hopefully lead to a better understanding of yourself and allow more empathy for your client’s process, thereby fostering personal healing for yourself as well as your client.
Prerequisites: Liquid Flow Essence.
Credits: Liquid Flow Deepening is part of the Watsu India training program and gives 50 supplementary hours of credit for registration with WABA (Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association) and as an elective with Watsu India.
Dariya (as WABA instructor) & Daniel have been sharing their passion for aquatic bodywork with groups since 2004.
Besides the belief that a solid technical base provides possibilities for ease and lightness in further personal growth, their main focus is to create spaces for flow, deepening and connection.
